Otra Vez’s menu is all about fresh, vibrant flavors that are influenced by Mexican, American, and Puerto Rican flavors. We aim to marry the bold and the comfortable, the new and the old, and the traditional and the unique in every single one of our dishes in order to provide an exceptional dining experience that’s unlike any other restaurant in Raleigh. Read on for a detailed look at some of our trademark dishes, then come visit us to try them for yourself.
Elotes

This traditional Mexican dish takes classic grilled corn on the cob and amplifies it with a decadent mixture of mayo, house spices, cotija cheese, and a sprtiz of lime. Elote is a popular street vendor snack in Mexico; it’s typically served on a stick for ideal handheld eating. At Otra Vez, it makes for a flavorful shared appetizer that packs a punch right off the bat.
Grilled Romaine

We add a hint of smoky flavor to a traditional romaine salad by giving the lettuce a quick char on the grill. Then we top it off with pickled tomatoes, charred corn, black beans, cotija cheese, and a sweet-spicy aji Amarillo vinaigrette. This light vegetarian and gluten-free option is great for complementing a robust meal.
Pollo Asada Torta

A torta is a popular Mexican sandwich filled with a variety of meats and toppings on a soft, toasted bread roll. We offer a pork belly torta, carne asada torta, BLT torta, and chicken torta, which also includes sliced avocado, pickled red onion, chipotle crema, lettuce, tomato, and jalapeños. Served with fresh, warm fries, it makes the perfect solo lunch or dinner.
Al Pastor Tacos

Tacos are definitely the highlight of our menu! We offer a variety of fillings, from shrimp ceviche to fried avocado to carne asada, to ensure that all appetites and dietary restrictions are fulfilled. Al pastor is one of our favorites. A popular dish in Central Mexico, al pastor is marinated in a combination of dried chilies, spices, and pineapple then cooked on a slow turning vertical rotisserie. We shave it off and serve it in flour tortillas with herb salad, lime, and pineapple pico. Delicioso!
